We hydroseed only, it’s not a sideline for us!!! The hydroseeding process begins when we create a slurry with water, cellulose and/or wood hydromulch, add tackifiers (glue), fertilizer, and the desired grass seed for your specific application.

The hydroseeding benefits include; Once our slurry is sprayed on your bare dirt, it dries quickly. The hydromulch helps reduce erosion when the rain comes. The seed will be protected from translocation by birds, rain, or wind. The slurry turns into a thin shell after drying. The moisture is trapped underneath to help the new lawn to germinate within 3-5 days. From brown dirt to a ready-to-mow lawn in 3-4 weeks! With Hydroseeding vs. sod, you can usually expect 80-90% savings compared to sodding.

Hydroseeding for Home

We hydroseed new lawns for building contractors, as well as individuals. We prefer to come visually assess the area to be hydroseeded so that we can not only measure, but to examine the amount of slope and the drainage of the area, as well.

We have different hydro-mulches to choose from! A least-cost approach is used but if we have concerns that a higher grade mulch is needed for a specific application, we will discuss that with you! A great lawn is our goal for you!

This house had a new pool with a 20′ slope. The crew installed cardboard sheets to protect the landscaping and pool from overspray.

We used Flexterra hydromulch on this steep slope due to it’s ability to cling to ground and stand up to thunderstorms. A severe thunderstorm passed over this lawn the day after application and withstood the test.

Seven days after Hydroseeding this slope, the Flexterra is not only in place but grass is growing through it!
